UNICEF Turkey,ICC and its partners working towards eliminatingviolence against children
Funded by the European Union, UNICEF Turkey with three other offices in South East Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia) is undertaking a regional project to help strengthen capacities of civil society organisations through reinforced partnership between civil society and decision makers in identifying, monitoring and addressing violence against children (VAC). It is also aimed to foster knowledge and experience-sharing among key intergovernmental organisations, networks of independent monitoring networks and civil society platforms.
International Children’s Center (ICC), Association for Solidarity with Freedom Deprived Youth (OZGEDER), Youth Federation of Turkey (TFT), all members of “Partnership Network for Preventing Violence against Children - PNPVAC have come together to form a consortium to provide institutional support for the project. The consortium has a number of valuable experts and academicians, and the project activities will be coordinated by ICC which is the consortium leader.
The main outputs of this project are;
§  Development of the monitoring child rights indicators
§  Development of the training program on violence  against children
§  Training of the NGOs with the developed program
