More steps to be taken for children

Millions of children cannot take advantage of rights such as education, health and play in the world, especially in conflicted areas and underdeveloped countries.

According to UNESCO data; 263 million children and young people aged between 6 and 17 cannot go to school. According to UNICEF 28 million children are forced to abandon their homes due to conflicts. These are threats for children whom may face abuse, violence and fall into the hands of human traffickers. Problems of children in Turkey is brought to the agenda on the World Children Day which is celebrated at every first Monday of October. Experts reminds 26% of 78 million population of Turkey is children and there are more steps to be taken for them.
