8th of March International Women's Day

International Children’s Center (ICC) supports women’s health with rights based activities. ICC gives priority to health and rights of women and girls in its researches and projects. In the last years; ICC carries out programmes and activities which address to early marriages and needs of all mothers including those had their babies at the young ages in social and health aspects.

One of our important project “The Continuous Pediatrics Training for Family Health Physicians and Family Health Workers” aims to protect and improve health of mothers and infants. These training sessions have been conducted in the last three years and it will continue in 2015.

Another our important activity area in women’s health rights is conducting training and development of training materials on sexual and reproductive health and rights of women especially in East Europe and Middle Asia countries. National advocacy activities involve supporting policy makers by making contribution to women and health and child rights sections.

Two important activities in women’s rights have been carried out in prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation of girl child and early and forced marriages areas.

ICC wishes to a world without abuse of rights of women and girl child, all rights including social, legal, physical, health are protected. We congratulate International Women's Day of women and girl childs.
